Please Note that all gemstones quoted will be Natural unless otherwise requested. 

**Regarding quality, as with diamonds, there are various grades of quality. At this moment there is no universal quality descriptive for each gemstone. We have therefore selected a broad range under the criteria noted below. Please remember that for each variety of gemstone there are different qualities which are sought. 
E.g. for a Star Sapphire - in fine quality you would expect a clear 6-rayed star with good blue body colour, even and bright. A commercial piece would have a clear 6-rayed star but the body colour may be less pure and darker in colour. 

Gemstones are graded in a similar fashion to diamonds, but each gemstone has its own unique set of characteristics.' 

Fine
All aspects of the individual gemstone would be visible and display the finest colour, clarity and cut for that gemstone. 

Good
All aspects of the individual gemstone would be of good overall appearance, but there may be small inclusions or a slight secondary colour overtone. Overall appearance being a good example of its type. 

Commercial
All aspects of the individual gemstone would be of good overall appearance but may have a native cut, slightly more visible inclusion or a more predominant secondary colour. JDS do not deal with poor quality gemstones and so even this quality will provide a nice looking stone.
